Wildernest Safari Inn displays traditional arts and crafts from Central, Southern and West Africa. From woven baskets, to hard wood carvings you are sure to find something of interest. Lifesize metal animal sculptures add an exotic touch outdoors, while a collection of passport masks can be found in the entry foyer. The large carved mask featured above was purchased in Malawi.

Reunions

The Inn is a great place to reunite with family, friends or colleagues. Book all six rooms (maximum 12 adult guests) to reserve the property for the exclusive use of your group. Day outings from the Inn include trips to nearby Seneca Rocks, Smoke Hole Caverns, Boating, Fishing, Golfing or a flight in a glider at the Eastern Soaring Center.

Dining

The sound of an African drum calls guests to dinner each evening. The meal begins with a bowl of home made soup or a fresh vegetable salad. Main courses feature beef, chicken or fish. A vegetarian option is always available. Fresh baked desserts complete the three course meal.

Bar

The bar offers a selection of South African wines and local hard cider. Wine is offered with the evening meal and guests can enjoy “sundowners” on the deck before dinner.
